New & Noteworthy: The Original Pancake House Maple Valley
1We love featuring noteworthy businesses in Maple Valley! It’s our small way of giving back to the gifts to this community. And on April 29, Maple Valley was gifted with the opening of The Original Pancake House in Four Corners.
The Maple Valley Reporter foretold its coming back in February, and then heralded OPH Maple Valley’s opening with the restaurant’s owners’ story of hard work and sacrifice.
The Original Pancake House was founded in 1953 in Portland, OR, so you’re getting a genuine Northwest experience. Since then it has grown to a franchise including 120 stores around the country.
“Everything we make is made ‘from scratch.'” – OPH
OPH’s claim-to-fame is a unique dining experience, which they describe and explain in this “behind-the-scenes video about OPH processes.”
Although the waits for this incredible food are long (according to a couple reviews on Yelp), the general consensus is: it’s worth it.
“Their pancakes are the best!” – Random person on Twitter
They are located at 26820 Maple Valley-Black Diamond Rd SE. The Original Pancake House Maple Valley hours are 6 am to 8 pm daily.
