There are some great happenings happening here in Maple Valley in the month of June!

Here are a few Maple Valley Summer events we HIGHLY recommend:

Maple Valley Days – June 7-9

If you haven’t been, GO! Maple Valley Days takes place annually at Lake Wilderness Park. There’s a parade, there’s a carnival, there’s a car show, there’s a “Kid Land”, there are TEN bands. It’s going to be fun. You know it.

Take a minute to visit the Maple Valley Days website, and read about the above-mentioned events and more.

The festival hours are:

Friday: 3pm – 9pm carnival 10pm

Saturday: 12pm – 9pm

Sunday: 10am – 6pm

Parents Night Out – June 14, 15

Parents! Great news! You can drop your kids off at the Lake Wilderness Golf Course – Lower Level, between the hours of 6-1030 pm either Friday, June 14, or Saturday, June 15. You do have to pay money ($22 for the first child, $12 per child for each additional child up to 4 children per family), but still: this is a great way you can get some much-needed together time!

Visit the MapleValleyWa.gov Parents’ Night Out informational page for more on this generous resource. The Parents Night Out program is run by Maple Valley Parks and Recreation and Camp Wild staff.

We appreciate this in particular, as a Maple Valley Summer event that makes it possible for you to enjoy more Maple Valley Summer events!

Don’t Forget: Maple Valley Farmers’ Market – beginning June 15

Every Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm at Rock Creek Elementary School. If you go on Opening Day (June 15), you’ll catch a special opening ceremony, as well as the opportunity to get a free 2013 poster with a $15 purchase. Also a random prize giveaway – can’t go wrong here!

Maple Valley has a great farmers’ market because it is so close to so many farms and natural product producers.

Visit MapleValleyFarmersMarket.org to check out the free entertainment and events that go along with some great vendors from around the area!

Let us know if there are any other Maple Valley Summer events you’re looking forward to this summer! Leave a comment below or contact us – we look forward to hearing from you.
