Most of us have Jeeps, and live near Maple Valley, WA. Though neither is a requirement. We are just a bunch of guys and gals that run together in a family friendly atmosphere.

Maple Valley Walk/Hike Club

Calling all walkers and hikers who would enjoy company and camaraderie. Our group has proven to be a good place for those who enjoy walking and moderate hiking with conversation and conviviality.
Our group does not have a target as to age, relationship status, or fitness level.
- We typically schedule events during the work day so many of our members have flexible work schedules or do not have jobs. We will probably be scheduling more week-end events during the summer months.
- We are not a “singles meet-up”, per se. We welcome singles, those in a committed relationship, or married.
- We try to describe our events in terms of fitness level. Generally they tend to be “easy” to some “moderate” activity. Presumably as we go along, our individual fitness levels will increase and our activities will keep pace. Everyone is welcome to go at their own pace.
Our purpose does not include commercial endeavors. We are not a business networking group. So if your interest includes prospecting for new clients or promoting your business, please do not join us.

This group was started to help Atheist/Agnostic families in the Maple Valley, Black Diamond, Ravensdale, Hobart, and Covington areas find each other. Please note this group is ONLY for members who live in those areas, and more specifically within in the zip codes of 98038, 98010, 98025, 98051, and 98042.
In addition, members must be parents of children/young adults aged 0-18 years old. Single parents and same-sex parents are also welcome in this group.
Members are encouraged to initiate contact with each other and suggest/organize events, and the Organizers may host events occasionally. However, this is not a group where you will find a calendar full of events being hosted/created by the Organizers.
The group will function more like a database of families to draw from as we strive to build our community/communities in this region.
