Safe, Family-Friendly Neighborhood In The Heart of Maple Valley

Lake Forest Estates is the name for the neighborhood that includes the area between SR 169 on the East and Lake Wilderness on the West. The South side is bordered by an unnamed forest (perhaps that’s “Lake Forest”) just beyond 254th st., and the North side ends just before 251st.

Much like the Sawyer Crest neighborhood of Maple Valley, it is small but full of character. This becomes particularly clear when stumbling across the Lake Forest Estates Home Owner’s Association, which takes great care of the residents of the Lake Forest Estates.

As an example of this, the community just recently passed a motion to purchase locking mailboxes, and the Lake Forest HOA is working hard to get them installed. They have already ordered them and are waiting on approval from the postmaster. Perhaps there is something negative there that caused the need for locking mailboxes, but if that’s the case, it is being quickly and effectively solved.
