Maple Valley Catering Companies
5Putting on a big event this summer, and need someone to cater it?
We did the research for you! Here is a lineup of some of Maple Valley’s best catering companies:
Ej’s Custom Catering
Eric Elmer (we’re not sure where “j” in “Ej’s” comes from) sure seems to know what he’s doing.
Eric’s motto is “healthy and hardy can co-exist” according to his website. If you take a minute to look at the delicious menu, you’ll see why! Eric offers 15 entrees to choose from – with some pretty unique options like Aztec Chicken and Grilled Alaskan Salmon Nicoise.
But what makes Ej’s Custom Catering stand out is that he displays his prices upfront on his website. And the prices are, to be honest, fantastic. Prices are based on groups of 40 or more, but you can contact Eric if you want an estimate for smaller groups. The least expensive option is $15 per person—and you get a choice 1 entrée, 1 platter, 2 salads/sides, and cookies or muffins for dessert. We don’t know much about catering, but that is a great deal. If you’re looking for more diversity, you can get their most expensive option at $30 per person (still not very expensive!) for a choice of 4 platters, 3 entrées, 5 salads/sides, and large sheet cakes with dipped fruit. Yum!
Ej’s Custom Catering is able to handle groups up to 200, for weddings, parties, or banquets.
Maple Valley Market
Maple Valley Market is known as a great place to shop for food once its open for the Spring, Summer and Fall.
The food is fresh from local farms. That is very cool.
As for catering though, you’ll have to give them a call, because we don’t have time do that! And they don’t have much information on their website. We understand, however—it must take a lot of time to run a market like that! Especially one with such excellent produce.
You check them out at maplevalleymarket.com, or you can visit their Facebook page.
Scooter’s Custom Catering
Scooter’s Custom Catering appears to be a high-end catering company—good-looking website, no listed prices, and you can schedule tastings. They do show prices for the tastings.
The menu favorites look fantastic, and judging by the fact that there are 5 themed options just with the title of “Favorites”, they must offer plenty of menus to choose from.
Scooter’s Custom Catering offer menu planning services, which could be really helpful if you’re not sure what to offer for your semi-formal summer evening wedding on the lake at 5:00 pm.
But their boxed lunches are a really great deal. At $12.95 apiece, they list some tasty sandwiches that would easily cost that much at Subway—and this is definitely no Subway.
You can check out Scooter’s Custom Catering’s website or Facebook page.
