Work on Tri-City Connecting Covington, Maple Valley, and Black Diamond To Begin Soon
Check it out:
This trail was proposed at a joint meeting between the City Councils for the three cities in 2010. King County reviewed the feasibility of the project in 2011. Work is supposed to begin soon, according to a report back in May 2013.

The Best Soup and Bread Place EVER Is Coming To Maple Valley
We love Panera. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re going to. And you’ll love it too.
The location will be in Four Corners Square, the space closest to the fire station. Open date is close to the end of this year or early 2015.
According to Maple Valley Reporter, the store will employ 30 to 50 people – which is cool, of course. Jobs are good. The article also records Kevin Bedows of Panera Bread (in this region) saying:
“We donate all of our bakery products at the end of the night (to nonprofits such as food banks). We do fundraising. We want to be part of the community, not just a business that is there.”
Well, hey then. Come on in!
