The following is from Kayla, the co-owner of Spring Kitchen.

1) How did Spring Kitchen get started? When was it opened? When did you have the idea for it?

My husband and I got to know the Maple Valley Area on early winter 2012. One day, my husband (Danny) drove me around the area and I immediately fell in love with the peaceful atmosphere and friendly people around here. Looking around the area, I told Danny that I would like to move here because the schooling system is awesome for my kids.

Another thing I noticed was that there are not lots of dining restaurants around the area. So I told my husband that it would be great to open a family dining style restaurant that mainly serves Vietnamese and Asian foods. That was the reason behind Spring Kitchen, which opened 1/9/13.

2) Who is/are the owner(s)? What’s the story of their involvement?

I (Kayla) and my husband (Danny) are the owners of Spring Kitchen. Spring Kitchen is our baby because we built it from scratch.  We have put so much thought and effort into it.  From the beginning, we really wanted it to be successful. We always remind ourselves and our employees the three main things that will keep us success are:

  1. Great customer service
  2. Great food and
  3. A clean restaurant at all time.

3) What are some significant events in the history of Spring Kitchen?

Since we would like to do something back to the Maple Valley community, we noticed that there are a lot of young children in the community. Therefore, we start our special event Tuesday kids eat free on 7/2/13. Ever since, Spring Kitchen is always full house of love from all of our young customers and their parents that come and support us every Tuesday.

4) What do people like most about Spring Kitchen?

Most of our customers love the Vietnamese Beef Noodle Soup (PHO).  Young children love our Chicken Teriyaki from our Kid’s menu.

5) How does Spring Kitchen add to the awesomeness of Maple Valley? What about Maple Valley makes it great, and a great place for Spring Kitchen?

Since there are not a lot of dining restaurants in Maple Valley, we want Spring Kitchen to have a relaxed atmosphere–a family-friendly place where friends and neighbors can take a break from their busy schedule to gather and enjoy our fresh Vietnamese and Asian foods. We feel we’ve accomplished that.

6) How can people get in touch with you and follow along with news, updates, coupons? (Facebook? Twitter? Email subscription?)
