You don’t have to wander far to find some amazing local photographers in Maple Valley. Up first is the local and popular Briana Nettleton. If a picture is worth a thousand words; her work speaks for itself. However, MV Living asked this photog to describe her passion (and subsequent business) in her own words:

“I have always loved photography and I have always been the friend and family member that took on the role of capturing our most exciting times and memories…I have learned that I love to do that for others as well. Nothing makes me happier than a client that says I was able to capture exactly who they are as a couple, a person, or as a child!

I am, by preference, a natural light photographer and will do what I have to in order to find some sun. I take great pride in my work, and want my clients to LOVE their photos. I want them to make them smile and make them cry. I strive to create images that you will fall in love with over and over again. The kind of photos that tell a story, the ones that can reconnect you to that very moment and make time stand still. I want you to be able to remember your child’s shy glance, their grumpy pouty lips or the way their nose crinkles up when they laugh. To always be able to see the wonder and the innocence in your child’s eyes, the big dreams and bright future of your child that graduated and to catch that sparkle in your eye when you see your bride for the first time. To stop time for that second and to be able to hold onto that moment forever is truly remarkable and is something that definitely makes my heart full and gives me butterflies in my tummy. I feel so blessed to be able to share my love and passion of photography with others. I am completely self taught–through trial and error, tons of self study, great mentors, and a lot of practice. I am constantly learning and always trying to improve my craft.

I love what I do, and I love my life. I love that you have decided to learn more about me, and invite me into your world to preserve your memories through my love of photography. Nothing is more precious to me than your compliments on my work, and I am so humbled by my clients’ continuous love and support. Their greatest gift to me is a referral and a smile!”
