Maple Valley Soccer

Today MV Living is focusing on this outstanding club organization in our area: Maple Valley Soccer. When asked to describe what they do and hope to accomplish and encourage in youth soccer, here is what they said:

Maple Valley Soccer has a long and rich heritage within Maple Valley and the surrounding communities spanning 30+ years. Our soccer organization was founded with the idea to give the youth of Maple Valley the opportunity to be exposed to the “beautiful game” of soccer within our community. Maple Valley Soccer Assn. has steadily grown to it’s present size of approximately 2000 players. We provide various levels of soccer programs for boys and girls ages, 5-18. Some of our programs include; Micro/Mod for ages 5-10, REC for ages 11-18, “Top Soccer” for physically and cognitively challenged individuals, Cascade Foothills Soccer Club serving REC players from the Enumclaw area and our competitive program, Maple Valley Premier (MVP) for ages 8-18.

MVP teams are currently beginning play in the Washington Cup which will crown teams from all around the State for each age group, gender and competitive level as State Champions. The winners of the highest level will move on to Regional and National competitions. We have a long list of alumni who have went on to play at college and higher. Along with teaching the game of soccer, our prime focus is the development of the individual, not only as a soccer player but as a good human being. We use soccer as a vehicle to teach life lessons our kids can use through out their lives. Lastly, Maple Valley Soccer is actively involved with growing the number of quality fields in our surrounding communities. We have partnered with local Baseball, Football Lacrosse and the City of Maple Valley to work to improve and grow the recreational areas to support the need within our community.
